Spiritual Foundations

We always need a 'spiritual anchor' in order to build bridges from where we are to where we want to be, be it by ourselves or with others.

The place to start:

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets.” (St. Matthew 27:37-40)

'Hope' is our creative effort find a way to live a meaningful life while sharing ourselves with others through nurturing relationships.

'Hope' is not simply 'attitude' or 'wishful thinking.' It is literally a way of life that we create.

However, our ability to create 'hope' is a learnt experience. It is not a creative effort that is learnt through intellectual exercises. Rather, it is an experience that has to be learnt in the family.

Research show that generally speaking, the ability to create hope begins around the age of two and is often related to what is known as the 'terrible twos' for a toddler.

These topics will be presented on this site.
